Director Susie Corbin Ms. Corbin has been in the field of Early Childhood Education for more than 30 years, serving most of her career as a Director of Christian preschool age programs. For many years she held an honorary position as preschool division area chairman for Association of Christian School International. She has attended Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa since 1974, and also participates in the Harvest Christian Fellowship Riverside crusades each summer.  She loves being a part of missions trips and planning outreach events for the children in Mexico and hopes to do more of that in the future, Lord willing.  She has a wonderful family full of nieces, great nieces and great nephews and two dogs, Lilly (the mischievous one) and Emma-leah, Lilly's big sister.

Mrs. Lisa Brannon - 2's

Mrs. Brannon runs one of the most exciting classes in our school. She has taught for us since 1999 and is a wiz at science. The classroom is always full of fun hands-on and discovery adventures. Mrs. Brannon really goes out of her way to challenge her students in a positive and creative way. She is a wife and mother of two elementary age children. She and her husband live in the city of Fullerton and are very involved in their church youth programs and her children's extra-curricular activities, among which is scouting.

Ms. Barbara Purmort - 3's

Ms. Purmort has taught preschool on our campus since 1985. She has worked with and potty trained scores of children over the years. She has now started to see parents enroll their children in our school who she actually had in her preschool class when they were little. Barbara has grown children and lots of wonderful grandchildren. She is very active at Vineyard Fellowship where she has attended for decades. Barbara is a prayer warrior and has a heart for the needs of others.

Mrs. Janel Hes - 4's

Janel has a great deal of experience working with preschoolers, and has served on several of our sister campuses before joining the staff at Pilgrim in 2008. She has also served as a preschool director.  Janel loves working with preschool-aged children, and embraces the opportunity to challenge and encourage them to be all that they can be!  On a personal note, Janel is newly married to one of our ministry employees, Andy, who serves in the Maintenance Department.  From time to time, you may see Mr. Hes around the grounds, ensuring that our facility remains in tip top shape.

Ms. Kimmy Miller - Pre-K

Ms. Miller joined our team in the fall of 2007, after relocating to southern California from Pismo Beach.  Raised in a strong Christian family, Kimmy's parents currently reside in Hawaii, and her father serves as the pastor of Calvary Chapel Kona Coast.  Kimmy's major is Child Development, and she is currently pursuing a teaching degree.  Kimmy loves working with children, and she is a welcomed addition to our staff.

Mrs. Ginny Blough - T-K Teacher

Mrs. Blough has been with the company since 1983. She served for years as a Director for FRM. Ginny went back into the classroom as a teacher in the mid 90's. She is married and has two grown daughters. She is a proud grandmother. Her class is our gift of time program and she offers the children a rich and challenging program to help prepare them for Kindergarten

Lucy Pecararo - Afternoon Teacher

Mrs. Lucy is our wonderful afternoon teacher who is full of fun, fun, fun! She teaches public school in the morning and joins us here in her free afternoons. Mrs. Lucy loves children and it shows. Lucy's love of all things artistic rubs off on our little ones. She is a wife and mother of a grown son. She and her family have been active members at the Evangelical Free Church of Fullerton for years. She and her husband serve at their church in many aspects of ministry. Her husband is a retired professional musician and her son is a talented young actor.
